A few months ago I was invited to speak at a local Etsy group meeting, focusing on marketing Etsy shops. During that meeting, a lot of best practices were shared between members. Among them, I was delighted to meet Vicky Suter, owner of the Etsy shop That's The Cutest Thing, where she makes amazing crocheted and knitted items for babies and children. Vicky is also a transport nurse for a local hospital, caring for young children and is involved in Operation Smile.
A few weeks ago, I got a call from Vicky asking for a new shop banner and logo. She had recently teamed up with local photographer, Elizabeth of Eliz Alex Photography to get some fantastic product shots. She wanted a logo that reflected her handmade treasures for tots, and incorporate her new product photos. She hired me to create a logo design, create a banner with the new photos (with permission), design a business card, and create several online ads in various sizes so that she can start heavily promoting her shop.
Vicky was a joy to work with. She gave me a clear idea on colors, font styles, and the overall tone she wanted to create. I'm pleased to show you the before and after banners!
